Achievements are best put in a game when there is nothing left to do with that said game.
There is a ton of stuff still yet to be done to Dark Age of Camelot.

LoTRO has a similar system. It's kind of cool, but can be a god-awful time sink.

Lol. I hate instancing and the attention they are paying to questing. That's wow. I just want a better system then titles. Make exploring fun for low levels.
