Hey all, my friends and I were debating resubbing and I thought I'd ask how everything has been going since we've been away. Specifically, how is the RvR situation at the moment? Are there a decent amount of 8-mans? Decent populations at off-times or at least every week night? Do mass relic raids/battles still happen frequently?

Just wondering what the current climate is. Thanks

If you have a decent 8man, you will collecting A LOT of realm points. Most 8mans now a days care less about fighting each other to see who's top dog and more about rolling anything they see.

There is still a lot of fun to be had playing DAoC

I came back about a month ago, and I've been having a blast.

I've am on 3 or 4 nights a week from 10:00 to 1:00 est.

My guild is mostly gone, but I still get a group 90% of the time I log on, and most of the time we get great rps.

20k to 50k for 2 to 3 hours.

It been very zergy most of the time and it is hard to get a good 8v8 fight, but if you hit and run you can do well.

I do feel that I've been in more 8v8 fights in the last 3 weeks than I was in the last few months before I took a break in April.

But if a 8v8 get drawn out you can count on getting added on.

Lots of fun to be had, just resubd again myself and the last few nights have brought back some good memeories and provided some awesome RVR keep fights. Cant chime in on the 8 man as Ive always been a solo/small group kinda guy. Still the best PVP in a mmo IMO though.

It gets boring fast.

I'd suggest staying in Molvik, Leirveik and Cathal as long as you can.

The Frontier is filled with giant noob zergs of 100+ people, or completely dead. People don't know how to small man or 8 man anymore.

So the solo/duo game is almost non-existent?

8man scene is good during Euro primetime(USA afternoon).....hardly any 8vs8's at USA primetime and I could care less since I always have more fun in 8vs25+ fights
