How do you take charge if nobody is willing to follow orders. I say bring siege and nobody does. I say I need druids.....5 people say they HAVE druids but everyone refuses to play them.

"But I need RR's on my stealther!".....

blah blah blah.... I'll pug with just about anyone. Some of my old guildies weren't so group friendly as I am. And there's your clique mentality. Shoot before I left I was co GM of a guild and if I saw someone who wasn't guilded I'd shoot them an invite just to get them in the "clique". If you can't fix the system may as well do what you can within it right?

All this talk about leading and following misses the point. Go back to the original post...

Trying to get Hib to organize anything other than 8 mans was a joke. At one point I was apart of a big alliance and I remember attempting to set up an alliance "zerg". I posted in alliance chat, on the website, and even sent PM's....for 3 DAYS. I ended up with about 4 groups. None of which had more than 1 druid. Nor any Warlords. All of which had about 3 sneaks, and the rest casters. Nobody but myself and one other person brought siege.It's sad when you can't organize a dang thing to TRY and combat the Kzerg. I spent almost all 3 days leveling up my siegecraft just to have access to the good stuff.

There's another thread about this already currently going on but it isn't difficult to figure out.

In zerg/realm/siege type situations...

Support == work.
Melee == work.
Siege == work.

Casters == pew pew pew gimme rps.

Nobody with a clue is going to give up their time to do work when other people can just freeload off of it. The reason that it happens in alb and to a lesser extent mid is that those realms were easy mode enough that people like Kzar and Rescu and Oldboy and TSK were able to cut it. Mythic weeded out more of the really dumb players in hib by making it the most difficult realm.

Action is good these days since the Euro merge. Population seems to be around 2400 primetime, but never drops below 700-900 during the early AM so there's always someone to fight no matter how late/early you play.

As others have said Hib has 3 str relics for 3 weeks now. Defense for the relics has been responding good keeping NF green for the most part. Still need some BG leaders, but all in all Hib seems better than it has been in some time.

Well it's official....

Account got hacked so I lost my main(Telankaa) and all her gear. Password and email got changed also. So for now I'm running a new account as a free trial. But I resubed....for now. I decided to level the old fashion way lol. So who knows if I stick around you might even see me out in NF in the near future.

And I agree that most people don't want to do any real work. They just want their rps as fast as possible. THAT is something that will never change.

Believe it or not, there are some bg leaders that just have that ability to take charge...and it works. Lovin was a good example. Shroomz is another one that can get a good following....he just doesn't give much direction. Everyone just tends to follow his lead.

As for group leaders...way too many doing the lfg....If you have a decent sense of direction...when you see those lfg's...start grabbing them and forming groups!

Yeah I ran with both Lovin and Shroomz. Both good leaders. It's good to hear the old diehards are still out and about. They both had/have good followings which is cool. At one point shortly before I left I was even trying to get Shroomz and his /as to help with raids.

On a side note I'm leveling my new Warden the good old fashion way and damn I have to say....I actually MISS the PvE grind. That's messed up right?

not really, i rather enjoy the pve, its relaxing, you get to check out areas that you haven't been to in awhile (they've upgated some of the dungeons iirc), meet new ppl you wouldn't otherwise.
