Greatest DAOC Video of All Time... |
For RvR, my favourite vid is probably Obsoleet, for the incredible second fight, which was one of the first displays of how effective an organized backing strategy was.
For storytelling, My Immortal is pretty much the best thing I've ever seen, for it wasn't only well thought and polished, but also because of how it used DAoC's background to build the story. |

3rd is probably Quivna's WTF. The whole solo buffbotted stealther deal back before buffbots were commonplace.
My vote goes to My Immortal. I love alot of DAoC player made gameplay vids, but I've always thought this one is definitely in a class of its own.

Just saw that for the first time and I have to agree, that is the best video I have seen, and very effectively done

Here is the one I meant, Forever Eternal. Very similar to the My Immortal one and even uses the same song, and personally I have to agree that My Immortal is better.

Was looking through various game videos and came across this one - now, its off topic, as its for SWG, but it well done and it shows just how much gameplay and environment is being lost when the game shuts down in a month. Just thought I would post it because some people here likely played the SWG as well. I know I played SWG and DAOC more or less concurrently for a while, then swapped between them and City of Heroes/Villains. I think this is a pretty decent tribute video, even if it doesn't show that much player created content (Player cities for instance, I founded 3 of them in my time there).

Feorl the Bard is after "My Immortal" one of the best videos IMO, simply because here we have not just a fan made video but fan made music as well. There used to be a english version but I'm right now unable to find it...sorry.
