Yes, the new tooltips are very annoying when you just want a quick overview of buff durations and recast timers.
Hopefully, Mythic will look into this, but instead of just reverting back to the old way, they could improve it further by giving us the ability to see timers on ALL relevant buffs at the same time.
Example:
Mouseover displays tooltips (like now)
Shift + mouseover a buff icon displays duration of *ALL* duration buffs.
Shift + mouseover a greyed out ability icon displays cooldown timer of *ALL* greyed out icons.

Don't really see why this is such a big issue, just add a bit of a delay and it's np tbh.
I cna see how it would be annoying if you:
1) Play on a 12" screen
2) Click everything
3) Have a borderline obsession with time left on stuff
BTW, borderline isn't a bad thing, it depends what side of the border you are on

Personally, I like the new tooltips. I'm certainly in favor of having the option to see small/minimal tooltips like we had previously, but all of the complaining seems to be "I HATE CHANGE!"  Once you're used to where to look in a tooltip for the timer, it's no big deal, I think.

I agree,but would it hurt to have an option to not view tool tips for qbars?? I mean the way I set up my qbars and have for years,one above each other,
the tooltips blocks my view and distracts me in a fight. We have to be fast and looking at what thing were hittin next in a fight,not lookin at
a tooltip. Every where else is fine,but I dont like it on my qbars...
