OK after finding out how ridiculously easy it is to BG level, just got to 40 with a character I made yesterday, figured Id finally make a bot. Just wondering what bot+class makes the best farming duo? I know alb has heal procs with firars or clerics but that only seems worth it for lots of puny mobs. Im looking at either a mid or hib combo to take on high grapes if possible. What are my choices if I decide to go either Hib and make either a druid/warden bot or go with mid and roll either a healer or shaman bot? What classes pair up best with each and what can I accomplish with them?

Druid/Chanter, but you will require an ML9 pet, and ML5 on the Druid can be quite useful. Just ML9 the pet and focus pull just about anything. You can also farm mobs in high quantities like this. Also you can do a Spiritmaster/Shaman duo as well, using the same technique. Healer might be able to replace Shaman I'm really not sure I haven't played much on Mid. Same idea as with Chanter/Druid.
Otherwise, I recommend Shaman/Warrior, or Druid/Hero. Just a heavy tank and the main buffing class + heals can take down lots of purple mobs. Your ML9 pet combo is usually a much more effective farmer overall. There isn't much you can do with a tank/bot that you can't do with a ML9 pet. Yet an ML9 pet with focus pull can kill 15+ oj/red mobs at a time with ease, while that's gonna take you 5 minutes or more with a tank.

where are the best places to even farm with a bot? I used to solo a few ToA zones for glass but if you have a bot do you do the dungeons for even more glass? or do you go for grape guys and good drops? Also If I wanna farm those purple Afrits is a caster with pet and focus shield the best option?

Yeah any caster will do an ok Job. However, having a stun is pretty important, so if you are playing Mid, then a SM won't cut it unless you have a Pac Healer to go a long with it. If you are on Alb then you can use a Cabby and Cleric, and use the Cleric for stunning. On Hib its probably the most straightforward with an Enchanter who also has a stun. I think Enchanter/Druid is a solid choice, since you get PBAE in the same spec as focus pull, and the main spec for most Enchanters. Not to mention Chanters just got some improvements in the last patch with the addition of baseline root.
Actually there is a slight problem though. When farming the purple con afrits (which is IMO the best way to make consistent plat, at a particular rate per hour, rather than just trying your luck on big drops), its very important to have an AoEDD. A light Enchanter has this, and along with an ML9 pet its probably equal or better than a Light Mentalist. So this does sound good, it's just that if you decide to take a break and farm glass or mass ammounts of mobs, then you'll kind of need to respec to Mana.
But I wouldn't pick your realm just based on what class combo farms afrits easiest. But if you want to play Hib, then definitely make a Chanter/Druid combo. Likewise... Cab/Cleric, or SM and.. well I dunno if it should be Shaman or Healer tbh.

For mid a sham and healer both work
healer gets the extra AF buff and celerity/heal proc
sham gets spec buffs that are a bit better than the spec buffs you get in summoning line on sm
I personally like the sham.
You can also go with a BA BD and a full aug healer for another flavor (celerity and 4 dmg dealers is nice). This works better in some cases but worse in others.
The sm will get you the ability to get the focus shield on a charmed yellow pet which is nicer than the three bd pets in most cases when fully buffed even.

SM + Healer.
Your summoning specs are not quite as good as a sham bot, but the healer bot gets you spec AF, insta heals, stuns, power regen, celerity, and another demezz. This more than makes up for slightly inferior spec buffs.
SM because no other class can have a charmed level 50 pet and a focus shield (Second best). That means adolescent salamader in ToA and axe hands in Malmo.

While I agree charmed pets >>>> summoned ones is focus shield really necessary for single mobs? Cant a sorc/menta with a bot also farm just as well since they can also charm? Although you lose celerity unless you run a warden bot but I dont know how much celerity really helps out. Is it a noticeable difference when using a charmed mob with celerity and one without? Also menta loses ML9 is that gonna hurt him a lot?

i'd run druid 100% on hib. Celerity makes a big difference with a 2H pet, but not worth giving up spec buffs.

charmed pets are crap for farming unless,
1. they are a salamander pet (typhon's reach, near SoM encounter). Therefore this only applies to ToA. And still these are not great for farming, they don't kill fast, but they have like 5 times more hit points then any other pet I can think of, they are absolute tanks.
2. you can ML9 it. I don't have experience with using ML9 on charmed pets because I play a Mentalist, but I'm sure that +15 level in ToA must make a huge difference.
Don't make a sorc/menta with the idea of using it as a farming toon, they are limited to only things in ToA (maybe the sorc can get away with other pets with ML9), but they won't be nearly as good as a focus shield class.

Alb - Necro + Bot (Although minstrel can do well in ToA with an adolescent salamander)
Hib - Druid + Chanter
Mid - SM + Shaman, although BD is only marginally worse
