I just reactivated a few days ago with a good friend, and we've been talking about the prospects of a Battleground-focused guild.

congrats to you and your bonedancer army that farms solo xpers. This is indeed a very big achievement.
I like the idea of a serious 8man group in the BG's. From my experience, its not as good as it could be because you don't have much competition from all realms, and you just run over duo's, trio's, and random PuG's all day. It's too easy, and then you hit the RP cap.

My focus would primarily be CV; hitting the RR cap is exactly the point - to be 4L9 with some experience in group RvR before you move on to the bigger battles.
Thid and Molvik are more places to test group setups. Especially Thid, when it takes only a short amount of time to get a handful of people level 24 in BP gear. Every so often, I do wonder how much fun it would be to play with x, y, and z classes together. Bonedancers included, and ya, I'll kill a solo hib or alb on sight... I haven't claimed or desired great achievement. Just looking to have fun with my monthly subscription.
But I don't want to detract from the group questing aspect of other BGs. In many ways this would be a leveling guild, with pauses in Thid and Molv, until you get up to CV, and then you are more or less training to make the transition into NF easier.
Anyway just a thought... trolls, flames, input, and more are welcome.

Make a Leirvik (Level 40-44) Guild.
This Battleground has such potential.

I've recently returned after a seven year break from the game, and this sounds ideal for me to help familiarise myself to the dynamics of RvR again. I've been messing around on a 39 Healer in Molvik quite a bit, but would love to check out some other characters - besides, a pac healer probably isn't a great char to return to after such a long time off. I'm a UK player, so the time difference could make or break the deal, but drop me some more information either on here or through a PM.

Apologies to all of those I've not gotten back to in the last few days (via PM). I've been out of town with the fiancee for Thanksgiving holiday, which was fantastic despite being in New Jersey. Hope all my fellow Amuricans had a grand turkey day.
Epimethic, being UK is no deal breaker. In fact, given the rather large Euro population, it'd be incredibly helpful to have an officer type around during those hours to keep things running smoothly. I cannot promise an active guild during your peak play times, as we have no idea who we're going to have in the guild, but I'd certainly be interested in having you join us. Send me a private message with a little bit more about yourself and what you might like to try out. As well with any other guild planning ideas you may have.
I'll certainly get back to the rest of you as soon as I can, and I hope to form the guild sometime this week. Anyone else mildly interested, drop me a message! We'll be Cathal Valley focused, with stints in all the other BGs for leveling, RvR, and beyond. If you join and get tired of BGs, obviously no hard feelings if you want to use us as a machine to get some realm levels and move on. That's part of the bigger picture.

And that includes roaming around Leirvik (Level 40-44)... which sounds good so long as there are enemies out.
