An Old Enemy Returns |
I think they are to help new ppl out by giving them better weapons. On hib there's a bug camp jsut east of the entrance to sheeroe, farmed and filled 5 toons twice in less than an hour, have at it. They are 99 qual so not a game changer on the high end but fills some gaps between cv bp weapons and champ ones. It's 100% drop and they sell for 52 gold

Why do you say the camp is bugged? I think its meant to be like that, they are supposed to be easy to get. Selling for 52 gold is nice actually, I bet if you got the right characters together you could kill hundreds of them in an hour. I don't think you can focus pull these guys though, they act a little more like the dragonsworn mobs in the dragon zones. Apart from being 99%, they also attack a little faster... the mainhand pierce had 3.9 dps and two handed weapons were 5.5. So you're going to have less DPS overall, even if they have the same or better stats as champion weapons or dragon gear.

40 bonus level is only for that camp, south of innis carthaig there is a camp also, blue to oj con, bonus level 34, slightly lower stats but still good procs and toa's. beautiful molvik weapons. the lower weapons sell for 35 gold. was doing the cf camp on ani/menty, pulls get way crazy due to adds, they agro like dragonsworn do, but can fill bags in a couple minutes. sell everything and you get 2 plat everytime you empty your bags, this is going to be freaky stupid for plat farming.

Where are the bows Mythic Andy? you seem to cater for most classes except Archers.

One camp is located in Avalon Marsh. No idea about the exact location but it's right by the road leading south to Cornwall.

just like icy rock paralyzer, so nothing new there.  having a fast shield to slam people is a good thing anyway, so i got no problem with that. sad thing is that there is no reproc and the procs are not really awesome too.
