No I know exactly what you're talking about but it's not an option in DAoC, it's an option in some other MMO like Conan or something.

if someone you have targeted is 180 degrees behind you and you want to turn around faster than mouse turning. Hit /face make a macro or bind it to one of your keys. Now days it is on the F key by default.

I use my mouse(hold right click), it's just as fast as using a key, if there was one. You just have to practice a bit if you're not used to it as I can easily do a 360 with a mouse. On a caster I usually nuke and turn at the same time, can get the nuke off even when halfway through the turn so that you can pretty much hit run as soon as the nuke lands(with a DD).

Pros can /face and jump so quickly that their character stops moving without autofacing their target.
