You're not logging onto an archived server, seeing the three realm selection screen and assuming that server is empty are you? I've done that in the past.

I did appeal for a gm late last night just to see what they would say and he told me I never had any toons whatsoever on the account from the start...I find that really odd! I had many alts and my main on this account, I might call them tomorrow and see if I can get anymore info but till then I'm baffled.

considering you dont need any key codes, or to purchase anything, *ALOT* of people seem to create completely new accounts when they think there just reactivating an old one...

or they reactivate some other account they had created accidently in the past and never used...

especialy in the case where you say you had to wait for ever on the phone to change the password... meaning you didnt keep records of your accounts/passwords, so you could of easily been mistaken about the account name as well as the password.

Ya this is true my friend, I never thought about that...all the old daoc stuff is slowly coming back to me as I search and play and whatnot lol
The guy at EA actually was pretty helpful id wait on the phone again if I had to an hour wasn't that bad, all I had was the daoc cd case paper with the original cd-key and on the back was my account name and the pw I used a long time ago and went off that...already lvl 35 after a day of playing so its no stress anymore..might aswell start off new again and be a noob it feels good!

how did you contact CSR in-game?

You can get a csr in game by doing an /appeal (what you are needing help with here) and follow the choices you are given. Uaually just choose Emergency for faster response.

if a CSR sees an emergency flaged apeal, that isnt an emergency... they often just dump it out of the system without a response...

dont falsely flag something as an emergency its a bad idea.

yeah, but you also see people posting in various threads over the years that there appeal never got an answer... or they waited for days on an emergency apeal...

and then they complain about poor customer service... when it wasnt the customer service that was poor, it was lame players filing incorrectly to try and get moved to the head of the line when theres others waiting to be helped some of wich might actualy have an emergency...

selfish, entitled ASH-hats thinking there simple problem is more important then someone elses real problems.

I have also had my share of days refreshing appeals, both emergency and non-emergency, but emergency usually gets a faster response. I'm a firm believer in good customer service, especially when it involves lots of my money and time, so if wanting whatever issue I have resolved ASAP makes me a selfish ass-hat, then so be it, but you will never convince me that there are that many players with real emergency appeals in todays player base.

I would think that as the OP can’t access their characters it would technically be fine for them to file a /appeal STUCK. I believe a STUCK appeal moves to the very top of the queue.
