Whats the current population of DAoC? Is there heavy rvr? is it only busy at peak times? Is there action non stop? I left 4yrs ago for WAR and ran a very Successful PvP guild there. Our guild left DAoC for WAR and now have moved on to TOR. Anyway you cut it, we still have not found that "game" that compares to DAoC RvR. Thinking about resubbing DAoC and want to know how it has turned out? I did a 2 week trial bout 6 months ago and found it to be a litle slower moving than WAR but felt good to be in NF again, even as a grey squishy.

Anywhere from 300 to 2700 online at a time. Just depends on the time and day.

Who are some of the prominent Hib guilds out there now? Is there anyone from the (this is dating myself) TNN Alliance?

Does mythic recall your old toons if none are showing on your account?

Thanks for the feedback btw

Have you checked the archived servers?

NF = zergs and bridge humpers with some duelers er i mean soloers sprinkled in. Small Mans are primarily solo stealth/visie gankers.

Labby = a bunch of hampsters running around in circles killing each other with no regard to anything, they die they release they come back and either donate or gain rp. These are the most succesful rvrers atm. There are duelers at nethuni south but these duelers are considered to be inferior to NF duelers because they actually acknowledge the fact that they are farming each other and do not have to take a boat to get where they are going to fight their set up 1 v 1 fights.

BG's = a bunch of little punks that roll you with their op classes while youre xping. although they are playing superior classes and even sometimes come at you with superior numbers while you are engaged with a mob and even though you are usually up to 4 levels lower than them. they somehow tend to get confidence and ego boosts off of these ganks. As if they are awesome for killing an already engaged player with 50 theurg pets while hiding behind a tree. I guess nobody told them that you really don't have to hide behind a tree to kill someone 4 levels lower than you who probably isnt panning cause he/she is xping and doesn't really care if you kill them.

RVR is fun and despite all of these sad examples it is still the single funnest thing you can do in a game! wierd haw

when you log in and are at the server select screen theres a drop down box below the list of servers
select archived servers and then all the old ones show up.

you have to log in each server/realm to get the old toons.

once you log them in you use /freexfer ywainX
x being a number 1-10
ywain 1-10 are all the same thing, they just have different housing zones.
iirc ywain 1-3 housing is full so you might wanna pick a different one.

then you log that toon out and it usually only takes 10 or so minutes for them to xfer
