maybe i don't know as much about caster mechanics as i thought. Why is it a waste?

too much vn makes you say things that trolls would say (edit: by you, i mean me).
nothing wrong with aa5 IMO. In fact i'm pretty sure they designed the RA system so that WP/MoM/AA give the best result when they are approximately equal. Nevertheless, I often run WP7-8 with little or no AA. While the average damage output per unit time might not increase, a little variance to get a couple lucky crits and take the kill can be nice.
Also though I would say that a Ment could benefit from getting some utility RA's rather purge 1 + dps. Depends on your playstyle and who you're grouped with though.

No sweat bro. I feel the same way, more mom and aa doesn't necessarily mean more damage. Im currently p5 st1 aa5 ad5 mom5 wp9 lw1.
I was told once, however, that acuity raises your damage floor (what you nuke for through resists). Hence the acuity charges and mythrian.

It raises the top dmg, not floor.

that the kind of input i wanted thanks, but.....i used normal bot int, my cap is 747, i use my int from my gear giving 12 more, my cap is still 747. You sure it raises your cap?
