My First Day in NF surprised me |
I think I'm beginning to understand why people think Hunters aren't quite always the pushovers. I decided to leave the damp air of Laby for once. In the first 20 or so minutes I had my first solo kills and gained 2 realm levels! I made good use of the terrain for kiting and when defending Glen just now I killed a Highlander Lord with my spear! I don't know how I hit him for 298 but even I was like MTSMS over it...as you can see in the screenie. I'm posting it because in my days we used to say "screenshot or it didn't happen" ;-)
I guess skipping Molvik on her wasn't as damaging as I had thought. I was able to make up for it very quickly.

Nightshades need a nerf and hunters need more spec points... 
I'm not sure killing a lord in a siege scenario while you're grouped is really worth bragging about though...

It was just me and Johnny, the SB...and my dog was biting the Lord hard! Darkestday, the other huntress, was outside.
We were late getting in, the Albs were killing the NPC upstairs and we got trapped inside. As they came down the Lord guy popped me and so I unleashed Frida, my wolf, and Johnny attacked him with his SB stuff. I started using Whirling Spear and it actually landed. This in the middle of some 20 albs who were just coming down from the main room!

But yes, we could certainly use more spec points. Or at least move down Frenzy and procs to level 31 Avatar.
