What changed that the markets are flooded with Afrit essences?
Some merchants have almost 1000 of them.
I mean, wow.

there are new repeatable quests that give these as a reward. they were introduced with last patch.
not to brag. but i'm happy for the hundreds and hundreds of plat i've made selling these in the past by farming them the hard way with ment/bot, and selling them for about 750g a piece. somehow I think that the price will get a little closer to.. nothing.
actually I really don't care cuz i dont even play this game anymore. seriously considering giving away account or /deleting. please, hold back on your pm's lol.

p.s., not cuz this game is bad. I would never give up daoc for another video game. its just that daoc gets in the way of real life, has a lot in the past, and now i can almost see clearly enough to know that i never need to play this game again. the only way i could make that final is if all of my characters were gone.

Ah! ok I haven't even tried the new quests so didn't know.
You are right, the value is getting close to nothing. 100 essences for 11 plat?
It just ripples from there - Zahur Rings for 1 plat. I did a search for Rings which have +duration - for giggles - since these used to sell very well - 20+ pages returned. LOL.
Guess my PVE days are over too - no point even farming anything in TOA any more.

it be a shame to see the effort and work you put into your character just deleted away or ever see the light of battle again, may i suggest that if you were to give the account away that you hold some sort of raffle? Something like who comes closest to a number?

yeah i might do that or something. I dunno yet i have no urge to reactivate right now, maybe if the urge comes back i'll have to make a tough choice.
