I tried it...

and honestly it just isn't my bag. I was excited when I first heard about it, but sci-fi is just not my thing. I'm all for indie companies making MMOs, they will feel dated but you can't expect big production like that from a small studio. So I went in expecting this. Came to the conclusion that I just don't like sci-fi mixing with my MMO.

I actually liked SWTOR for a lot of reasons, but it came down to the sci-fi feel and I'm just not into it for long periods of time. That and Bioware is racist against short people.

Left Rift for similar reasons, but it had more to do with disconnection to the lore. There's just something about the core RPG lore that I like...can't explain it. Though I will say I didn't stay long in LOTRO either, I liked it, liked the lore, but the classes imo sucked. I get into this predicament quite a bit. I tend to play healers, and healing in DAoC is just really well done imo. This is why im a bit hesitant about GW2. But they have asura that can be guardians short tanks ftw!

They just did a server test and apparently it has a really dated feel to it, and not in a good DAoC type of way.

The client download was less then a gig so the graphics were turned down to the most base models. It was a log-in server/server stress test.

Honestly if anyone thinks the game is going live looking like it did for a total of 10ish hours over 3 different tests they do not deserve to test anything out.
