It was back then. You would be interrupted depending on the speed of the weapon hit you - I know there was some sort of change near/around the time I left. Let me give you an example:

Sometimes you get hit by a champ with a 2hander... and you're waiting 3 seconds before you can cast again. Sometimes it's 1 second or so. When you get hit by an instant debuff, you would get interrupted - for longer than that instant. However, a mind-wipe spell, would only reset your cast, and you could immediately recast after without any further delay.

Pretend I know #$%#$ about how it is now, and I'm asking, when someone interrupts me (melee, spell, debuff, arrow, etc), how long must I wait before I can cast again?

Also - if I attack-speed-debuff someone, will their styles do more damage because now they swing slower? (as it used to do)

Thanks,

Melee, damage spells, etc still interupt you the same as always. Debuffs no longer interupt, however dex versions will still adversely affect your casting speed. Amnesia still makes you stop & restart the cast if you haven't completed more than half of the cast. There are still plenty of classes that can kill you in seconds, especially as a caster. However, there are more survival toys around now too. Cabbies are still a popular class in alb groups, and can do well in small groups. Most casters are tough to solo these days, due to the large numbers of grouped stealthers.

Disease affects most heals now, including spreadheals, though it affects the healing pool, rather than the target of the damage. I think it affects IP too, but not 100% sure.
