On other side i need honest opinion if its worth of playing it. I like pvp and i read a lot abaoout how good pvp it is here and so on, so i need answer if its worth of starting to play it. How is activity like on server, bg que is long short and if still lots of players playing this game.I am playing on Mortred(pvp server )

not sure if serious? If so then no que's and Mordred is dead. Try Ywain. As far as laggy and wooden, it is 10yrs old but when u learn to use mouse turn and strafe it becomes more fluid.

There's no Queue and there's still loads of people playing , some bgs might be Deserted .
The Most Active ones are Thidranki , Molvik and CV(20-24,35-39,45-49).
DAoC's Battle grounds have no objective , you simply kill other or take the Central keep.
You will most likely not going to find this kind of PvP in any other game , The Realm rank system , Frontiers and the 3 realms against each other is what makes this game the best

Have fun

Again there is no que system, you make your own groups. Read up a little b4 u try for free. The ywain cluster is the only action left, Ywain 1- 10 play together. On these servers there is PvE and PvP. There are Home zones, where you are safe and can PvE, then there is the Frontiers, where RvR(daoc word for Pvp) takes place. In the frontiers you kill the opposing 2 realms in either siege warfare, full group , smallman or solo. Although with your limited understanding of how the game works , I would stick to zerg til u learn the basics. Like recognizing enemy classes, the interupt system, the combat mechanics..........

The current DAOC graphics engine was released with the Catacombs expansion many years ago. Unless you are trying to play it on a netbook with 1GB RAM, you shouldn't have any performance issues. Try turning up your mouse sensitivity in the game options so your toon turns faster.

There are no queues in DAOC because the PvP is not instanced. If your toon is not 50, you can port to the BG for your level at any time. If you are 50, you just go to the frontier zones. The PvP server Mordred has almost no population and hasn't for years. If you want to experience DAOC's RvR, you need to play on the Ywain server.

dont turn with the keyboard its slow, turn with the mouse. Dont use the old models they are really low poly and have bad textures despite what some players say.

Hi there and welcome.

I'm not sure what computer you are using but I have a 2 year old basic laptop with a core 2 duo 2.4 Ghz, 4GB ram and a 256Mb laptop graphics card and I can run my 2 accounts on it at the same time with almost no lag. The graphics are pretty much outdated but still very nice for such an old game.
Maybe the movement is not as fluid as you are used to some other MMOs you may have played but I find it very nice. Try increasing the mouse sensitivity and use right click mouse to look around.

As to whether it is worth it or not, I would say give it a try! You get 14 days for free and in that time you can do A LOT the way the game has become. You have time to level a few toons to 50 (takes about 15-20 hours) so you can see what you like and you can try out BGs and then even some lvl 50 pve and RvR.

From level 1 to 10 there is a tutorial zone that will explain everything about the game (interface, quests, combat, etc.). After the tutorial zone, you can spend all your time in BGs battling other players and learning about pvp while leveling incredibly quickly.

Is it worth subscribing to and investing a lot of time in? Only you have the answer. Is it worth trying? YES! It's a fantastic game still today.

Good luck and hopefully see you in game soon.
