What can people tell me about the game now that would be of great benefit? I know of glass and dragon scales for the most part maybe a couple things I'm missing about those but that's not really what I'm fully worried about.

I want to reroll. What would be the best thing for me to reroll as (hib/mid/alb doesn't matter). I'm willing to play everything but the healer roles. I want something that can compete in NF/CV/molvik currently but that can also solo/duo for glass and scales (I have 2 accounts so I'll have a buffbot or something).

I hear its hard to get grps on hib.

As someone who came back at the end of Jan from 6 years of being away this is what I have learned:

I found that savages (buy realm buffs and use aug healer = win) and spec line LT casters (SM, Cab, Sorc) farmed glass really well in a solo/duo situation. Bonus to sorcs who have crack. I also found that being an ice wizzy/sup SM/mana chanter work well for getting green glades glass groups. Most groups will accept you with a bb (or if you have a speed class as your second).

Hib seems cliquey, I agree its not fun to find groups in NF and I didn't feel there were many guilds to choose from if you didn't know anyone.

Alb is terrible for molvik, 30 albs will sit between at and ck in a zerg all day long. They rarely have roaming groups. Mid and hib have roaming groups that run regularly and side swipe the albs for free rps. Hib almost always has ck.

I noticed on mid skalds = group, at least in CV, as a bard in molv and CV i have no trouble ever finding groups so I can probably assume a mins are the same. With that said mins = kinda op.

I suggest having a temp if you plan to run in CV or molv for any extended period of time. Its worth advertising in LFG that you are temped (this usually = better quality groups)

Depending on how withdrawn from the game you are I would suggest sticking in molv for a bit. It feels like ez mode compared to CV which feels like ez mode compared to NF.

in mid 50 NF rvr you dont get a group, even if you search the whole day. they take rather guys from their alliance then anything else.

Getting a group was easy before TOA and during the first few months of the classic server days.

30 mids in molvik now, and I cant get a group. Forget groupin with 50's unless your tight with the guild/as.

I'd say roll a stealther or something you can solo in bg's on until another game comes out that you want to play......

Hrmm that doesn't sound too encouraging! If it means anything I was a gladiator level player in WoW Arena after DAOC and am currently a fairly high level league of legends player (top 2% or so).

Make a infl/minst/scout next join War Angels, get to 50 and wait till 3:30am on weekdays ( 6pm on weekend ).
Join Lilmammatru fix a drink and enjoy .
