EQ2 at the moment has never been worse. Players are leaving is masses and new ones aren't filling the void. The current producer SmokeJumper has basically ran the game into the ground. The last expansion offered no new content and they still charged 40 bucks for it. The recent changes they have made have destroyed the solo aspect of the game and raiding has been nearly been destroyed. Really the only thing left in the game that was fantastic was the housing/decorating and the assistant producer responsible for that just quit the company. In short, EQ2 has some dark days ahead.
well, while i dont play, or keep up with the game's billing (cause i dont play) ... i live with 2 people that do play EQ2, and run a raid guild...
one of them only logs in to raid and thats it the other fiddles around most days solo...
they both liked the newest expansion and even tried telling me to start playing again because i'd like it... so if it had no content i dont see why they'd say that...
they still raid 5-6 times a week, so obviously that hasnt been destroyed either...
so maybe list things more specific instead of generalizations, because from the side i see things are all peachy at eq2
