I have had Bluehost tech support on the phone (my webhost provider) for the last 15 minutes or so talking with them about it. I am now on hold.


I think they are talking it over with their manager on duty debating if it will just be easier for them to slap me with a ban stick and refund the remaining subscription fee on my account for the year than fix it

I was told the admins there are going to look into the issue now. They are telling me there is something going on with the server they have me on but it does not appear to be anything caused by my site. They said connections to my site did not seem to be causing the issue. I did get a CPU throttling warning for a whole 31.984 seconds which they said was not an issue and could have been caused by them checking the account so they were not worried about it.


On a side note: They told me that if they determined it was my site causing the issue they would suspend web traffic to it until outside hits to it died down. Hopefully that will not happen.


I have faith in them to resolve whatever the issue is.

Yeah, i'm getting game crash as well. Made my adjustments in the options chooser, select Custom UI after logging in, select Play... boom.

I looked back at the last couple of old versions of BobsUI and did not see MythicArial as a font option.


If it was there, it was a while ago. It sounds like you were running a merger of more than one version of BobsUI in the past.


I have not touched the Chat Font options for BobsUI for several revisions.

Nope, there is no easy way to transfer old settings to a new version. Occasionally I change the option choices between versions when I add and delete things. Because of this, what is option 1 in one version may be option 3 in another so old settings would not be the same in a new version.

Normally when this happens to people it is because they have more than one version of the game client on their computer and install the new version of the UI in the directory of an old client. Because of this when they run the new game client it is attempting to still load an old set of UI files which causes the crash.

Delete or rename your current ui/custom folder


Load the game client and make sure you can login to the game.


Download either the Minimal or Complete version 6.0 of BobsUI and copy the custom folder from the compressed file into your ui folder.


Before making any changes with the OptionChooser program, load the game client and make sure you can login and play the game.


After you verify things are working with the default settings, then make changes using the OptionChoose program.

- I was able to successfully login to the game without using the Custom UI
- I deleted my previous Custom folder and copied over the complete version of the new UI into a new Custom folder in the same location
- In order to narrow down where the problem started, I began at the top of the options in the Options chooser, made a change or two, then logged into game. I did this until I received the crash again. Although I haven't exactly identifed where the problem is, it seems to be at or around the Status Bar Skins options.

I only have one client.
I Completly moved my custom folder out of the mythic directory.
I tried a fresh copy of the minimal install and of the complete install with no mods done.
at any time i can login using the atlantis client. I have not been able to load BoBs at all. The only thing I can think of is the ini file for the toon has settings that the game does not like. Since thats the only thing that did not get changed. I am looking into this now.

Edit: toon I have never setup using bobs crashes on load with the stock out of the zip full install.

But ghost runs fine once I copy the options file from atlantis.

This sucks ive been using the viddis skin for a very long time. ghost is nice but is missing a lot of the extras.
