I've seen this article a couple other places before, it is.

The biggest thing to note though is that it's the result of a bone marrow transplant. Those are expensive, difficult, extremely painful, and require genetic compatibility like other transplants. While this is definitely a breakthrough, it's a procedure that not everyone will be able to take advantage of. It won't solve the HIV problems in Africa, for example.

Agreed. It's a step in the right direction, but the facts are if the bone marrow transplant is compatible, then the person receiving it could be in big trouble. Lots of risk going into this kind of procedure. Still, it's a good sign.

I disagree in so much as I wasn't really doubting the article, I just wanted to quote Cartman's "but are you H-I-V positive?" refrain from that South Park episode...
