Steve Jobs basically kicked off home computer ownership, led the studio making some of the best animated films ever made, then went and redefined tech companies and the music industry and grew apple from an industry joke into the largest company on earth. This is a huge loss.

After he was hired back by Apple to be the CEO he had enough vision to realize that Apple was about to fail completely. Got a CASH bailout from Microsoft and has been successful ever since.
