I think it's funny that they have never put in a system to allow dyeing armor custom colours. People look like clowns in that game.

Most mmos have moved away from armor dyes. It worked in a pvp game like daoc because you wanted to limit the number of armor models for performance reasons in large scale pvp but still allow some individuality. In a pve game like wow, it makes more sense to have varied armor models so players have something to work toward.
