So rather than letting stuff build up and spending a bunch of time cleaning I'm going to try doing a little bit every day and see if it keeps up or if I slump back into laziness. Did dishes, threw out a bunch of cardboard that had piled up for recycling and did a bit of a bathroom yesterday.

Does anyone else clean every day, leave it for weeks, hire a maid or live in their own filth until they move out?

I just do this every few months:

Then rebuild.

It's such a waste to be wasted in the first place
I wanna taste the taste of being face to face with common grace
To meditate on the warmest dream
And when I walk alone, I listen to our secret theme

if I didn't live in an apartment style condo that might be an option.

My mom always hated a dirty house so when I was growing up we had to clean every day which in reality makes it easier to maintain rather than letting things build up. Prime example, my uncle's friend wanted me to detail his car so he could sell it. Generally, I can do a detail job in less than a day. I've worked on his car for over a week

I'll admit that I do get lazy sometimes and I've definitely steered away from my 'OCD' days, but I still like to keep things clean...

we have done a pretty good job at cleaning once a week and keeping things at an acceptable level

before that, though, we would just clean when a mess piled up or when company was coming over, not the best way to do it imo

I am notorious for waiting way too long to clean. I'll get a service when I move into my next place.

We are pretty good about keeping things clean. Only thing we have a tendency to do quite a bit is throw our mail on the table. It drives me nuts to see a messy table.. and I'm as big of a culprit as my wife is
