I'm trying to share files between my computers, but I am running into an issue. On computer A, I open the home group and see computer B documents, music, etc. libraries. When I click to open one, I see everything just fine. On computer B when I open home group, I see the documents, music etc. but when I try to open the files nothing happens. I have made sure that it is being shared by computer A in every way I know how, but I can't see what is different between computer A and computer B that would make it so it works perfectly on Computer A, but I can't see anything when I try to open a library on computer B.

Well I did a little reading up on it, but I don't know much about Windows 7.

I would say try manually creating your Homegroup or maybe making a network between the computers instead and see if you can share files that way.

...Then again I'm pretty stupid so don't take advice from me. I was just trying to get my +1

Turn off that homegroup crap.
Share the root of your drive on each computer.

Sneakernet is too annoying for big files.

You are lucky if a USB drive will hit 250mbit read, and half that on write. My ethernet connection does 800mbit easily. And you have to move the file twice on the thumb drive.
