Only game I ever got a beta invite for was DAoC's catacombs expansion. Oh, and Planetside. I never get invited to any other betas unless they are open betas for stress test ><

and [can't make the symbol work... but...] pi with a long e sound as "pee" but we're too immature to pronounce it that way.

I've only been part of a few beta's for big name games, and in all honesty I think it turned me away from the game anymore. WoW is the only game after doing the beta I actually considered playing full time.

Milk, your post hurts my face.
I used to apply for every beta "like oh my gosh how cool is it to say I was in beta?!" Then I grewup or mellowed out, take your pick and only applied for beta for games i was intersted in. Mostly for
A) a free game to try out
B) to see if I liked the game before buying it
C) feel like I helped in developing the direction of the game
That's about my priority order too.
