The problem with butter |
Butter is FABULOUS stuff. Only problem is that it absorbs the flavor of food around it. It's particularly susceptible to fruits and spices. My son dumped out my cummin in a little bowl and it sat next to the butter without a lid and guess what? That butter tasted like cummin. Eck. Sometimes I put bananas up so the kids don't mash them and they're in the cupboard next to the butter. Banana butter isn't so bad.
But now...we have a new flavor. It's awful. Broccoli butter. /shudder
