Why did you pick Galahad server? |
Just curious after all these years, why did you guys pick Galahad server?
I picked it because of the cool name  I didn't even know anyone when I started playing...in fact I only bought the game because I had a broken foot and was stuck at home bored for months  Trev was the first person I met in game  and he invited me to his guild...and it's all history from there. I think we had the best community here on Galahad than any game I've played since.

I had two friends who had already started playing (one was level ~15-ish one was ~30-ish) so it was a no-brainer to go where they were.
I probably would have rolled hib if they hadn't been playing alb. no idea which server though... probably whichever would have had the most players at the time I happened to log in that first time.

I started on Iseult originally with a couple friends. Population was pretty low there and Galahad was a nice mid-ranged pop.

Because my wife played here.
She picked Galahad because a friend from Ultima Online played here.

The guys from my Half Life TFC (some RL friends) clan started playing on Alb Galahad. I resisted for a couple of months but TFC was kinda dying and a friend did not like DAOC and gave me his account. So I tried it and liked it...
