I like Lexas' picks for casting. But maybe Lucy Lawless would be better for Elspethanne. I agree that Russell Crowe would be great to play Lexas. Val Kilmer for Vestige would be nice. Matt Damon would play Ethelraed.
on the bad guy side, I really like Danny DeVito for Dengar.

Wow, I just saw Bourne Identity and thought while watching it that the lead actor (Matt Damon) would make a great Ethelraed!
