I just heard the news in-game from a guildmate of mine who knew him pretty well.

My condolences to his family and friends. It's really a sad day for Albion also.

I was just grouped with Bruic a few days ago, patrolling the milegates in Hadrian's. I'd always see him out there helping out. He was one of those Albions who helped a great deal and complained very little, if ever.

<salutes Bruic>

I sit here with tears in my eyes and find it hard to think clearly. I spent a good deal of time with Bruic, and my heart has taken a great blow with this news. I have felt the personal loss before but it is no easier to deal with now.

Many days we spent hunting together, talking, or goofing off, just whatever struck us at the moment. Countless keep takes we took part in, good or bad, and had a laugh and a few jokes at the end, regardless of the outcome. He was one of the better men i have come to know during my time here, and i will never forget him.

My heartfelt sympathy and support go to his son and the rest of his family, for i know this will not be an easy time for them. My only consolation here is to know that he is now in a land far better than we can ever imagine, and someday i will see him again.

You will live with me always bro..Go in peace Bruic.

To anyone reading this..having been through this personally in my own life, i just want to stress to you the importance of family and friends. Dont take them for granted, and do your best to let them know they are cared for, because you never know when the chance to do so will be taken from you.

<bows his head in prayer for a great friend>

Oh dear Bruic...*tears up*

I first met you in the hay day of Knights of Justice. You were referred to compassionately as "santa"...*whistfully smiles*...if ever any of us needed anything you'd go out and get it for a KoJ family memeber. We've all gone on since KoJ...but whenever we'd talk in the occasional tell, you were still just like family--a big brother.

I can't believe you're not going to be here anymore dear friend...*long pause*.

I miss you....

*weakly sits on her knees with head bowed, eyes staring blankly at the ground, her bow worn hands quivering, tears slowly and steadily falling over her dusty cheek*

God bless you dear Bruic...life will not be the same here...

Well, I am gonna head out to the gorge tonight after the truce at Hib wall and visit some of the old spots Bruic and I used to hunt hibs from. Some of his famous stealth pali spots. I won't be raising my blades tonight to harm anyone while I am there, just gonna be reflecting back on one of the best people Percival had. All the selfless ninja rezzes he would attempt. All the groups he helped out. All the times we hunted together and joked around. Was always a good time when with Bruic, and he never had anything negative to say. He was always out to enjoy himself and make sure everyone else did the same. He will be missed, and I hope everyone that knew him will carry a piece of him with them at all times. Farewell Bruic, you will be greatly missed, old friend.

I didn't know him, but this is not good news at all. I feel for the friends and family of this man.

Enemies in game we may have been, but the loss of a fellow gamer is always a sad thing. My condolences and best wishes to his family.
