I'm from Albion Tristan, where my main is a Paladin.

I'm also supposed to have back surgery before the end of the year to correct bulging discs. My heart goes out to Bruic's family and friends in real life and in the game.

We to often forget that behind these toons, there are people, with lives, feelings, problems, dreams and joys. When we forget that, we forget ourselves, because we are all those people with all those things.

I never new Bruic...but his passing is a loss to us all.

My deepest simpathy goes to his family and friends.

As the mod of the Italian servers board, I would also like to express the condolences of the italian daoc community, expressed in this post [ http://forum.gamersrevolt.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=167051 ] who's being signed by us. Although you can't understand italian (or maybe some of yas can) I thought it was a nice thing to make you know that.

Wow, I am absolutely speechless. To see the three realms come together in rememberance is just breathtaking. The video brought tears to my eyes. It is truly an honor to play this game with a community of players like this. Although I never knew Bruic, my deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.

Sometimes there just aren't the words to express your feelings. This is one of those times.

Many times we have all used the term RL, but what can be more real than spending 5,6, or 10 hours a day, for months on end, doing something in common that we all have come to love in our own way? These people we play with, day in and day out are RL friends, we just haven't seen them in person.

My condolences and prayers go out to his family and to all of you on Percival that had come to know Mike, through Bruic, as a friend.

My eyes were more than teary eyed as I watched the tribute video. I am sure that if Mike could have seen the turnout it he would have been amazed at the outpouring of sympathy and respect that were shown that day.

The end shot of his charactor is a fitting tribute to something that he obviuously valued and enjoyed thoroughly in his own private life. And not only him, but his family as well.

/salute to another heroic paladin, but before this to a good man, because only a good man can unite so many people like he did.
