Several references were made to a guild made up of "ex-Hibernians" and a few other things that directly implicate our guild. The comment was then added that "I know they use radar too."


And Aeroz... wow, words cannot describe the level of idiocy you are currently operating on.

Aeroz, I don't have much of a reply to you other than a simple question. Why is so important for you to call my friends and I cheaters? What is your motivation behind these baseless accusations? Why do YOU want me to be a cheater? I'm genuinely interested in knowing. I mean, this last accusation, about me using IRC to cheat is just ridiculous, and really stretching it. Fact is, I spend about 30 minutes or less in IRC a week, and none of that is when I'm playing the game. Ask any of the channel regulars there, they will tell you so.


So, anyway, whats your beef? What is the motivation behind this ridiculousness? To put it plainly, what are you trying to achieve through these accusations?

i never said skeggjold cheats.. i said i was using YOUR broad definition of cheating to show that it is simple to label anyone a cheater. do i believe its cheats personally? NO do i believe valgrim using a bug in his favor was a cheat? NO ...Do i believe these radar/hacker people are cheats? YES!


HUGE DIFFERENCE THERE! The thing is you wanted to try to crucify Valgrim over something that was in the past, and not a big deal, over the fact that he personally felt these people were playing un fairand using outside game help. Now he probably shouldnt have named exact names of people, would stirred less an issue, but its all in gest now.


All my posts were done in a style that related to what you said or Dengar said. Exact same. You end up thinking its the complete other side of the world when its done to you.. mainly b/c you guys are taking a pretty much double standard on this whole thing. Not all your "friends" are your "friends" and not everyone that you play with you really "know". Less your sitting there in a LAN with all your guild, you cant tell me you know...

Well Aeroz. The goals of my posts were two fold:


1) Defend myself from ridiculous accusations, made without evidence, and seemingly for the sole purpose of discrediting me. He has no evidence. He describes no incidents. He is slandering my friends and I solely because of his own dislike for us. Who is crucifying who?


2) To expose Valgrim's hypocrisy. You don't see me calling Valgrim a cheater for no reason at all. Or making threads about Valgrim being a cheater without provocation. You see me reminding Valgrim that he has been banned for cheating (only after he slanders me) by admittingly exploiting a bug:

Valgrim seems to believe that he is the moral authority on this server, when in fact, he has no moral ground to stand on. He constantly attempts to ruin people's reputations, without proof, and with no reasoning other than he dislikes said people and the realm from which they came. I mean, lets face it, you can't expect to call someone a cheater when you yourself have been banned for "exploiting", especially when those persons have a totally clean record.


So can I be faulted for my posts here? Yah, I guess I can. Not for bringing up Valgrim's past or for defending myself. I can be faulted for the manner in which I did it, basically knowingly using the same form of inflamatory accusation and character assassination that Valgrim prefers to use. Why did I do this? Perhaps to give him a taste of his own medicine? It was obvious how he felt about being attacked in the same manner which he attacks others, as evidenced by the f-bomb laden response I received (the same one which seems to have gotten him banned from the boards). I guess I was being petty by doing that, I feel bad for doing it....but not THAT bad.

I'm confuseled by these two statements, which contradict one another.

No Sanger this is not an argument, this is me bitching, I'm bitching about people who I know with 100% certainty were cheating, then I am also bitching about the sick fools who totally unbalanced this game and made Midgard almost impossibly to play against.
