'Bela fleck and the fleck tones' has the best banjo player and my hero Victor Wooten on the bass and must heard if you like the banjo. please check out this band if you like the banjo and have not allready.


'Stomping grounds' is a great first song to search for and the live version rules.


IMO no man has done more with/for the banjo than Bela Fleck in the last decade or two.

And Victor Wooten is hands down the best Bass player who ever lived!! His solo stuf is unbelievable.

11.) I love reading, just to research and learn. My current library of books spans a wall 8 feet tall and 15 feet long and there is still four other bookshelves along another wall.


12.) I am a worry wart and have really bad insomnia because I worry so much. Usually a lot of my worries are not even things that deal with me. While my ex was going down on the elevator I was so lost in worry about a friend I called out "Oh God I hope Amy is okay." Mood killer, big time.


13.) I am an astrologer and have been for near on ten years now. Used to run my own company until I lost interest (because a man I really wanted to spend my life with told me he thought it was all BS) and now I only read for friends and previous clients.


14.) I love to travel and have been to every European nation, Canada, and every state except Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho and Washington.


15.) I don't get along with females at all and have only had two female friends in my life that I was ever truly friends with. The others I could be around, but never really trusted them. Because of this, I can immediately tell which people are manginas in game just on whether or not they irk me when they talk.


16.) I love role playing and do so typically rather well, though I have slacked off in last year. For the longest time people in our guild didn't know that myself and another prominent member of our guild were one in the same. (Won't say who cause some people still don't know and I kind of like it that way.)


17.) I loved being pregnant and I would get that way again in a heart beat if the chance ever arises, but I don't want the whole wedlock thing. My first daughter I was 3 weeks overdue with and had no meds but my second daughter was induced precisely 4 weeks overdue date and I was in labour for 42 hours and yes, I had meds for her after 23 hours of labour.


18.) I hate shopping, especially for myself. When family sends money for Christmas or birthday and says spend it on yourself, I always go buy my kids something instead. Shopping is one of those go in, get what you came for, get the hell out type of things for me.


19.) My birthday is on Martin Luther King's birthday and when I was in second grade, the state had decided to finally observe the day as a holiday and I thought they let school out just because I was special.


20.) I am an organization nut; anal retentive I guess you could say. I alphabetize CDs, VHS tapes, books, weapons in my vault in game and cans of vegetables in my cabinet. I can land someone within an inch of any item in my entire house, from a dirty sock to a hair pin. Just meticulous (sp) that way.


I hope we keep this thread going a while. I feel obligated to share more when I read more about everyone else but am running out of things to say. But this thread is great, definetly could win for the lack of flames vs. length at least.

1) I am a huge Denver Broncos fan.


2) I married one of my ex-girlfriend's friends a few years after our 7 year relationship ended.


3) I constantly worry about money and supporting my family.


4) I am currently working hard toward getting my dream job of being a firefighter.


5) I went to college but never finished. 3 different community colleges and one university.


6) I have had the same set of friends since grade school, and I still see them all the time.

Incoming pestering from Alem, imo.

1. Half of everyone I meet thinks I am a great guy, and the other half thinks I'm elitist. In truth, I am both.


2.My favorite band is Opeth. 95% of my music collection is death and black metal. Yet I can't stop listening to that Maroon 5 album and today I cranked up Savage Garden's "Truly, Madly, Deeply" on the way to class.


3. I have only lived in my new city for 6 months, yet I feel more at home here then any place I have lived in over the last 6 years.


4. I am very intelligent, but somedays I embrace my it and somedays I deny it.


5. I am completely loyal to my friends. Never before have I met people who are so quick to accept someone new, as if I had been their friend for years. If you mess with them, I will kill you and then your family.


6. I've recently started seeking out and accepting leadership roles. Too often it fell on me anyway, so I might as well start embracing it.
