/random 8888: I can't stand floppy shoes. Mules, flipflops, whatever; if they are not FIRMLY attached to the feet, they are ammunition, not footwear.

Of course reading other lists makes me think of some I could've included.


11. As a toddler I had curly hair, but it went straight and changed to a darker color by the time I was in 1st grade. Sometime in 7th grade or so, it went back to wavy and the original lighter color. So, I may be the only person with wavy hair who hates the idea of straightening it.


12. I'm afraid of dancing. Don't mind seeing other people enjoying it, just can't move if someone drags me out there to do it. Often wish I knew why so that I didn't stand out as such a lame person.

Slow dancing's the best kind, Aiwen. And it's the easiest; force what's-his-breath to do that with you. I bet that turns out just fine. Even the gimpiest male will slow-dance. And you don't really need to do anything except kinda lean and sway: it's bot-dancing! And yar, my favourite.

Yeah, I should edit to say that slow-dancing is the only kind I can do. I guess picture the folks in "Awakenings" -- if I can hang on to the love of my life out there I can easily walk in slow little circles.

I think something deep down worries that I would look like Elaine from Seinfeld trying to fast-dance. The irony is that I don't want people watching, but being the only one standing still on the dance floor gets more looks than anything else.

11) My baby sitter convinced me and the girl who lived across the street from me to strip for each other when we were 5/6. We did this routintely until getting caught watching each other pee.


12) My first "french"..err "freedom" kiss was from Jessica, in 7th grade. The day of my Bar Mitzvah. A man I became, indeed.


13) Also in 7th grade I was dumped by the same girl twice. Once for going to fast (she heard a rumor that I was going to kiss her) and once for going to slow (she wanted me to kiss her).


14) I've never done drugs or smoked a cigarette. I am the only person in my immediate family or my circle of highschool and college friends that can say either. I used to sit around with my high school/college friends as they passed around joints and what not. I do not think cigarettes or drugs are things "bad people do", they just don't interest me.

3. I've taken recreational drugs since age 13, and apart from a brief period, I don't feel they've messed me up.

5. I've only ever had long-term relationships, which all failed because I'm an idiot.


6. I like beer. As in real ale, not that wussy lager stuff.


7. I really enjoy 90% of my job (I'm a bailiff (that's a form of debt collector in the UK, not some bloke who stands in court passing little notes to the wig (judge))).


8. I've been told I use very strange, but correct, syntax and grammar when writing.


9. Favourite food is pretty much anything barbequed.
