Ah. Just spent the last 20 minutes trying to push a buddies 4-runner out onto the street because his battery died. Effing snow *shake fist*
Well, my name is Andrew. Im 20 years old living in Kamloops British Columbia with my lovely girlfriend / wife Elizabeth (3 years as of last week).
My passions in life are:
Rock-climbing big wall cliffs. Most notably the Chief in Squamish BC.
White water Kayaking is my only real talent as far as sports go, I have been sponsored by a few companies in competition, and hope to enter some world class tournaments soon. I paddle a Liquid Logic Hoss and Space Cadet for those two know anything about kayaks.
Snowboarding of course, is also a deep love of mine. I spend all my time when I am not in a kayak (winter

) on my board.
I have been a writer for many years, as some might have seen from my little italic exerpts here from tiem to time. I am currently working on two fantasy novels.
I spend conciderable time during the summer Fly Fishing, an age old sport that causes one to lose more time than catch fish. But I love it, and will never stop.
I also spend alot of time adventure racing, which is an eco-challenge type sport composed of different sections over a time trial, or just completing alive criteria. Mountain Biking, orienteering, hiking, rapelling, paddling. The last race I did was the Raid the North race in Vernon BC, a 36 hour adventure race. Our team did not finish due to injuries obtained during the course..but then again...out of 29 teams...only 2 finished anyways.
And, as a side note. Im an avid Fantasy nerd, playing MMO's and reading every book I can get my hands on till whatever hour of the morning.
Many people wonder where the seal clubbing thing came from. When I Was 17 I graduated high school and moved up north to Ft. St John BC to work in the oil patch as a Surveyors Assistant. I made my fortune in the patch over the course of a year, and spent the next year travelling the north. To Iqualit, the capital of our new territory (Nunavut), Churchill Manitoba, where I met my bear friends Mita, Moch, and Minimoch! I spent a great deal of that time learning about the Inuit culture while I was in the far north, and brought alittle of it back down with me
Currently I am going to university full time, and I was working full time as well until I quit my job at Road Runner Internet a few weeks back. I am completing my Bachelor of Science / Associates of Physical Geography currently. Since quitting Riko, I spend most of my time writing my books, going to the gym, running, and now that we have snow, soon it will pile high enough for the wifey and I to go snowshoeing in the back country near Whistler.
But, as im sure we could all write a 1,000,000 page essay on ourselves, Im going to end it here. The wife is stirring, and since Ive allready been up for an hour, I guess ill make breakfast.

Edit: lol, and yes desert_enchantress I have been on Polar Bear hunts. My Father shot one last year. I have watched Seals get Clubbed, I have been attacked and hurt rather badly by a Grizzly Bear in the back country of Whistler when I was younger. (Thusly why I carry a shotgun and bear spray while fly fishing now)
