July 4th 1980 is where my story begins. This day, this glorious day, is when my mom and dad danced that special dance which produced me. So Nine months and 2 weeks later I was born (April 16, 1981). The first daughter and last child my parents had. My Mom was 37 when she had me and my dad was 43. I had 3 older brothers growing up; the closest in age to me is 7 years 11 months older.
I had a pretty good childhood, as much as I remember it. When I was 8 y/o I was a bone marrow donor for my brother's unsuccessful transplant. He had leukemia and died due to complications of the surgery at the age of 19. Before then I was a pretty outgoing personable person. After I mostly went inside and kept to myself. I never really had any friends growing up but that didn't bother me.
We had an Apple ][ and the school that I went to let me copy a whole bunch of games for it. I liked the text based adventure games such as Sherwood Forest, and Mask of the Sun. So yada yada yada I graduate from K-8 Catholic school and move on to High School, Public.
I went to Edison High School. I knew 4 people that were going to go there too. The school holds like 700 students. This was a sort of welcomed culture shock for me. I hadn't really seen any different races or heard any different languages before I started at Edison. My second week of High School I got myself a stalker. He would leave me teddy bears and slip notes into my locker. He would follow me around the halls. So I tried my best to ignore him. He had a series of really hideously ugly girlfriends and they all got pissy at me because he had told them that they were just stand ins until I changed my mind. Yeah that didn't happen.
I played on the Varsity Soccer and Softball team my freshman-senior years. I was Co-captain and All Conference in soccer my senior year. My Senior year was great. My stalker had graduated the year prior so I didn't have to worry about him. I got a new Homeroom Teacher and holy smokes was he a hotty. I went to my first and only dance my high school career "sadie hawkins" I had my first high school boyfriend. I did skip out on prom because I said "i don't know" to my friend when he asked me over AIM.
Lets see, I graduated high school in 1999 and spend my last real summer vacation smoking copious amounts of a potent substance. I met back up with an old flame and we had a lovely codependent relationship. I went to college the first time at Winona State University, in Winona, Minnesota. I enrolled in the Biology: Cellular and Molecular major. I was supposed to play Soccer for WSU but the bloody NCAA took their sweet time clearing me, and by the time they did it was basketball season, I had a 2.0 gpa, and I had gained the freshman 15.
Well, around that time, I realized that my major was interfering with my sleeping and partying so I decided to drop my major and become undeclared. I also decided to drop the guy as well. I started to go to these group meetings with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. That helped clear my mind. I cut down on my drinking and stopped my potent smoking.
I went back for my second year and still hadn't redeclared a major. By the end of the first semester my second year I decided that I didn't really know what I wanted to do so I decided to finish up with all my generals and get my Associates degree. I moved back home and went to work for Kodak, putting together computers for hospital x-ray film printers.
Sometime after September 11th my old b/f asked me for a second chance so we dated again. In January 2002 I quit my Kodak job and decided to enroll in an accelerated diploma program for Graphic Design. In April of 2002 I found out that my b/f was still using the drugs so I got rid of him for good. Memorial day 2002 I start to date old guy (16 years older than me) July I broke up with him.
I had just started to talk to this guy on AOL named Darkrumors, you should know him as Cuttlery. August 26 2002 we met at the Minnesota State Fair I knew right away that he was something special. December 2002 Demon came into my life. February 14 2003 Cutt proposed to me (i said yes). August 2003 I graduated from the Graphic Design Program. November 17th 2003 I started to work where I am currently employed doing pre-press and plate making for a label company in a suburb of Minneapolis.
June 26th 2004 Cutt and I went to Vegas and got married. August 20, 2004 we moved into our new home and also got a new cat named Owen. yada yada yada,
I have a pretty super computer. Oh yeah... I am also known as a person of interest with the Yahoo Chats. Some of my favorite TV shows are Northern Exposure, The Pretender, Profiler, X-Files, Xena, Hercules, McGuiver, Quantum Leap, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, OZ, Law and Order: SVU. Some of my favorite movies are: Bridget Jones' Diary, anything with Robert Downey Jr., Never Been Kissed, Fallen, Gladiator, The Usual Suspects, Snatch, Fargo. I like most kinds of music. I can play the Trumpet, Piano and have a guitar. It's January 20th 2005 and I am typing the focus on me.
