Very interesting. I saw something like this a little while back. All of those construction projects just stopped dead.

Ok, with all that, here is the Fighter in essay format.

I was born in Peoria, Illinois on September 21, 1982. I grew up in Illinois until I was 15. This is where I get my Chicago Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Fighting Illini love from. They are my teams through thick and thin!! All of my family is back in the midwest but sadly I never get to see them. Probably been about 4 years now.

After the first semester of highschool, I moved to the east coast. Parents were having financial trouble and my dad was offered a job with the DoD and a huge salary, so we headed out. The east coast is completly different from the midwest. Was a big change, but a great change. One week after turning 16 I got my first and only job before I joined the military. I worked fulltime for this job for almost 4 years with a year break inbetween (see later on). I was working full time (35+ hours) and going to high school full time. Guess that is where I learned how to schedule my time and have the work habits I do now. I got accepted to 8 different colleges, but my parents decided it was best that I goto Ohio State Univ. I graduated in 2000, and the morning after graduation, I was on the road to start classes at OSU.

I went to OSU for a year. Really did not like it at all. I ended up failing a class, and not doing so hot in my other classes. I had fun, but the school was just not for me. So after a year, I moved back home with the parents. I haven't had a break from school since before I could walk, and I told my parents when I came home that I was burned out and wanted a break. They forced me to enroll in a community college or I was going to have to move out. So I enrolled, and promtly dropped all of my classes and left during the days so they thought I was going to classes. After the first semester, I moved out on my own at the tender age of 18, and was told I would never make it anywhere in the world.

For the next year or so, I worked and lived the life of a single 18 year old having to pay bills and be all grown up. Responsibilty was something I learned very quickly. But I survived. I was thinking of joining the military because living on my own I could not afford to goto school, pay bills, and find time to work for all those bills. I told my parents this and my mom told me I would never make it in the military. So a reason I joined the military to begin with was spite towards my mother to prove her wrong. Got a few more reasons now, but she is who got me to the recruiter

I left for basic training on March 11, 2003. Basic was at Lackland AFB near San Antonio, Texas. Then I went to Keesler AFB in Mississippi for the first part of my tech school, and then to Sheppard AFB which is near the TX/OK boarder for the last part of my tech school. After finishing tech school, I was stationed here at Luke AFB which is right outside of Phoenix AZ. I have now been in the military for 2 years for you unmathematical folk, and I love every minute of it. Not only have I made it in the military, but I have exceeded many expectations of my parents, and my peers at work. Too many awards to name, but the one I am up for right now is Airman of the Quarter for our squadron. No, I am not a pilot, but I do get to work on the avionics of the F-16. For those who have no clue what avionics is, here ya go: http://usmilitary.about.com/od/airforceenlistedjobs/a/afjob2a3x2.htm

I met the wife about 7 months ago on Yahoo. Yes, internet sites can and do work! A good friend met his girlfriend of 7 months on AOL, and hell...look at Tessa and Cutt. We were together for 5 months and got married. For all you thinking it was too soon or early, well, things have never been better between us and I am happier than I have ever been. She is not just my wife, but my best friend.

Now in all of this, you may ask how I came to stumble onto ACF. Well, ACF stumbled onto me. I played Asheron's Call since release. I have been on these boards since Jan 00. Just back then you could not change your name and I have a few alts floating around out there with a few hundred posts each lol. But back then, there was no ACF. Just the AC General board. Well, we always caused a rukus and they decided to create an OT board for us and hence the creation of ACF, and my run to 50k. Back then the boards had a different format and the star system ended at 5k stars. And the stars were totally different themselves.

Some of you may of noticed (or may have not) that I am never around on the weekends usually. Well, the wife works from 6am-3pm Sun-Thur, and I work from 1pm-1am Mon-Fri. So the wife is asleep when I get home during the week, so I troll ACF. On the weekends, it is all about the quality time with the home base commander. That is usually how I spend my weekends, spending time with her and going out and having fun with life. The wife is 5'0 and weighs all of 90 lbs, so yes...she does look young, but I love her. And think about what she will look like in another 20 years when we are getting old

While being all over the country, I have met quite a few ACF'ers. FJ, Al-K, Heart-of-Gold, Snowcrash and his wife are all out in the DC area. On the west coast I have met MSS, Polar, Nemo-the-nameless, Sarena, BT, Zukey, WolfgarEnteri, Armando, Princess-Bri, and I am sure I am missing someone or three. If any of you are in town, let me know and I will take you out for some beer. Beer is goooooood! The darker the beer the better imo.

Oh and the only thing freaky to happen to me is almost 17 months ago I tore every single ligament and tendon in my left knee. Air force was supposed to give me surgery and physical thearapy, but none of it happened. Sadly, I still score higher than 90% of the people I work with on my physical fit tests we have every 6 months.

I think that is enough about me. Any other questions, feel free to ask and I will do my best to satisfy all your needs.
