My step-dad is agnostic and his best friend is also agnostic. They are really intelligent and we used to talk about it all the time when I was growing up. My step-dad was an alter boy while growing up and after years of being Catholic... he decided religion was stupid. But they never discouraged me from going to church, in fact I did go a few times and decided it was not for me. I didnt form a really solid opinion until college after I took some classes on religion and philosophy and came to my own conclusions about the matter.
