Bub_nef, I am jealous of you! Uganda and gorillas is the perfect combination. I had originally planned to do field work in Africa (probably Uganda) with chimps, but since my grandmother died my willingness to be somewhere for months at a time with little or no access to my family has gone. Post pics of gorillas when you get back

Kreeze, don't worry. being a pauper doesn't have to mean you can't have a chance to be meets some primates. Every where I go I look for opportunities. If you can convince people that you know what you are talking about (even if you don't) or seem sincere it is amazing what people will let you do.
When I went to Italy I convinced the directors of two zoos to let me interact with their primates. At the Giardino Zoologica de Pistoia the director let me groom a gibbon and two chimps. At the Parco Natura Viva they let me go into the Prosimian house and feed, play with, and hold the lemurs.
In Texas I met the codirector of Primarily Primates and he lets me visit and bring people. In LA I met the director of the Santa Clarita Gibbon Sanctuary and can visit when I want.
Wow! Why haven't I posted pics of all these animals? Once I get them scanned in I will send them to you.
