Thanks for reading! haha after i saw its length in the post i didnt think anyone would read it. Things are deffinatly better for me... I have loved the last year of my life. I have made great friends, learned a lot about people and life in general.

And for all the people who thought I would never ammount to anything and all that fun stuff it was great to be able to say that yes, I dropped out of HS, but I have some college credit, and im one of the only 20 yr olds that you will find making $15.50/hr in a job they love working with people they love and that love them. It was hard as hell for me turturn down the promotion that was offered to me (45k/yr) to go back to school, but I think in the end it will be worth it.

Wow Rage, how you have changed. I do remember you from the Frostfell boards and you were a very troubled individual back then. You have come a long, long way. Congratulations to you on a positive journey.

Although I'm very sorry for the loss of your father, it's great to see you're back in school and making amends with your mom. I'm sure you'll never regret that decision.

Thanks for the great story. I really like the 'new' Rage

I was also in JROTC in HS..that was very very good for me, i loved that too... was very close to joining the army... If I had im sure my life would have gotten on track as well, i almost wish I had done it... Im like you in that I wouldnt mind having to go to iraq...IF there ever really is a draft, I will join.

Also, I dont regret any of my effed up last few years. Like I said i think it is a big part of who I am today. I pride myself on being a huge people person and being able to help people any way that I can, im kind of known for it.. I just have to be careful to not let people take advantage of that...

The only regret I have is not spending more time with my father... I mean I was there, but I was playing AC or whatever, and i was a stupid little punk... It was really hard for him to watch my life get so screwed up...But im sure he is proud of me now (i hope so lol)

My relationship with mom got much better after I moved out... It was starting to get better a few months before... But once I moved out and proved that I COULD survive fine without her she started treating me like an adult. Thats all I ever needed. I still came to her house and helped her do stuff (yard work and whatnot) and we grew together alot more. I now live with her again so I can go to school and not work full time, thats what she wants for me... So far it has been going well... I mean i dont have a curfew or any crap like that...

My mom is different than most...

She is 1/2 white and 1/2 indian. She was raised in india until age 18 (she was at some british boarding school) so american culture and how we do stuff here as kids an whatnot is different to her and so I had to fight to be a normal kid lol.

Cool cool it's really not as bad over here as long as I can contact home. That's what gets me through being away. Well ACF helps to makes it feel more like home.
