Born and raised in Sacramento, went to public school through 8th grade, went to a small lutheran high school. I'm not exactly sure why I chose that now but I'm happy to have met the people I met there, even though I can't say looking back I was impressed with the education level. It did affect my view on religion. I was actually very anti-religious going in (I don't know why I chose that school with that view) but I came out very respectful although I still disagreed with organized religion. In my view it's better to be a good person for that sake than for reward in the afterlife and if whatever god out there choses to condemn me still because I would not subjugate myself to him/her it's not a god I'd want to worship.


I might have chosen a different path coming out of high school had my grades been better but I only had a 3.0 or so and I chose to go to the local state college. Maybe too proud for community college but I enjoyed my time at CSU Sacramento. Started in Computer Science but only took me two semesters to realize I would not want to be coding for a career... it would suck all fun out of using computers for me.


I had been taking care of a lot of general education so it was easy for me to transfer. I decided on criminal justice looking for the final goal of investigating computer crimes. I felt this would be exciting and challenging. Anyway, I really enjoyed my classes and finished my degree about a year ago. Since then I've been looking for a career job but I'm having trouble looking in the field of my choice which has been really frustrating.


My free time the past 6 years or so I've played MMORPGs. AC1 started my addiction, then it was AC2, Earth and Beyond, City of Heroes, and now I'm in WoW where I have a great raiding guild of friendly people on Cenarius.


Anyway, I come here a lot less than I use to. Mostly I cut back my time during this Kerry/Bush election crap on VN. I really hate the circle jerk politics on this board but still enjoy coming on to flame noobs and troll and such. Cheers. <3
