The Glacier Giant waits patiently in the frozen landscape of Odin's Gate for a chance to step on Carrington reducing him to a bloody stain on the virginal white snow.

The girl lead Tayana down into the warren of tunnels that lead to Ayslyn's home. When she got there, she found a steaming bowl of stew and a round of bread, fresh from the ovens. Ayslyn sat in his chair, smiling. "I'm sorry to drag you down here like this. You're most likely famished and tired from the hunt. What I have to ask you can wait until you are fed." He nodded to the supper on the table. "Eat first, then you can properly tell me whether or not you will help."

Tayana looked first to the food, and then to the elf. "The world would truly be a better place if there were more men like ye, Ays," she smiled gratefully. Seating herself at the table she broke off a piece of bread and paused before she popped it into her mouth. "e might as well tell me now what it is. Fed or unfed, ye know I'm goin' te say yes."

Ayslyn smiled at her. "I don't know that the world can handle more than one of me lass." His smile faltered slightly. "I plan to put Carrington and Arguyle in a room and see if we can't work this nonsense out without too much bloodshed. I'll be busy getting Arguyle here, and I would very much appreciate it if you could bring Carrington down. He's not in top form right now, and he might not agree," he paused, "Especially since he can't know the way here right now. But, I can't allow him to refuse this meeting, and I would ask you to ensure that he does not. Can you do this for me?"

The heroine smirked, "Well, I wouldn't mind if there was another one of ye, as long as he wasn't spoken for too."


"But that sounds simple enough. Ye've seen Talannis, so ye know I'm used to dealing with cranky, unreasonable men. How hard do ye want me to pursuade him if the lad's opposed to the idea?" Tayana asked, raising an eyebrow. "And when do ye want me to fetch him? I'd at least like to finish this first," she motioned to the stew, "As I think I'll be needing a full stomach."

Ayslyn smiled "Aye, your brother... That is part of the reason I asked you. There is nothing so persuasive as a proven track record." He winked. "He needs to be here, so I have to ask you to not take no for an answer. But, do try not to hurt the lad permenantly. Unconscious I can work with. Maimed, or crippled... Not so easy." He grinned. "I don't need him here for another day, so you have plenty of time. There are spare rooms also, if you don't feel up to the trip back up. Hopefully Arguyle will agree to this meeting. I imagine he will be more ammenable if I don't have to kidnap him."
