Tatton had watched Ayslyn's performance with professional intrigue. The elf 'ad a bit of talent. He smiled at Tayana... "indeed, I think this fellow is a myriad of talent and merriment."


Tatton recognized the lass a bit from brief passings in the capitol. And when she had approached he introduced himself to Arieanna, and the Albion folk at the nearby table.


"Forgive my rudeness and disposition," he scratched his somewhat unshaven face. "I am Tatton of the Bardagh originally from the lands of New Gaul, at times a historian, healer of wounds, provider of merriment and servant to you and yours." He bowed low.

Arieanna smiled at Tatton as she picked up her kitten.


"A pleasure seeing you again Lord Tatton. You were at mine and Degran's wedding party."

Hato mewed and stretched his tiny neck towards Tatton trying to get a sniff of him.

Tatton grinned sheepishly and blushed, as he scratched the kitten playfully under its chin.


"Oh... of course I was Arieanna.. forgive me, I truly have been out of sorts lately with much on my mind."


Tatton smiled warmly at Arieanna and took back to his seat, hoisting a cool tankard.

Hato struggled out of Arie's grasp and padded over to Tatton's table before jumping up onto it. The kitten sat before Tatton and watched him mewing softly.


"I think he likes you Tatton," Arie chuckled. "He's talked to you more already thathe has to me all day."

Ayslyn chuckled merrily. "Oh, aye lass. There are a few things that I can't do. But I am working on that," he grinned as he unstrung the lute and put it back in his packs. "Welcome to you Arieanna, and to you Hato." he said scratching the cat gently behind the ears.

Arie smiled warmly at Ayslyn.


"how you been friend?"

Ayslyn smiled, "Well enough lass. And you?"

"As well as can be i suppose. I went for a walk and somehow ended up here." Arieanna shrugged. "Wherever here is," she said as she looked around at the variety of people.

"Well, at least ye walked here, lass. I was chased here, with the added bonus of trippin' and fallin' right on me face," Tayana sighed, dabbing at her split lip and bruised cheek. "Luckily fer me I've always looked good in purple."


Shrugging, she reached over and gave the kitten an affectionate scratch. "I see ye've acquired a ferocious bodyguard," she smiled. "Where'd ye come across this little one?"

Arieanna smiled fondly at the small orange cat.


"Degran gave him to me. I woke up one mornin in the grove and saw nothin but red. He had put roses everywhere. The ground, the trees.... I was lookin at it all when Hato walked up and brushed against my legs. Startled me, he did," she chuckled. Arie rummaged through her pack and pulled out a small vial and handed it to Tayana.


"Here ya go. This should help those wounds. Arb's famous willow salve."
