OK here goes...
I'm a 45 year old mother of 1. Happily married most of the time, when not I go to mom's for awhile. His mommy lives 2 houses down the street.
I have been married for 19 years, and lived in Indiana my whole life. I have traveled the states to some extent. I like to see new places and do new things.
My mother is still living at 77 years of age. My father will be deceased 5 years on March 16th. I miss my father terribly. (I was daddy's girl)
I have been in my profession for 28 years, and finally am at the facility I am hoping to work at until I retire. I monitor the nutritional needs of elderly nuns, so it's like being at church all day. They are very sweet little old ladies.
Some of my hobbies are swimming, fishing, drawing, and painting. It is getting very close to being warm enough to start working on the tan while casting a line. My son has grown to love fishing as much as I do, and is already stopping me the moment I hit the door at home after work asking to go to the lakes. I taught my son how to fish, clean them, and cook them. (his father isn't very outdoorsy)
We own a florist business which my husband works at 7 days a week. I have learned many things helping on holidays, and helping with wedding flowers at the shop. You probably wonder why I don't work there too...(I do not like my brother in law, and I already had my degree when I met my husband.) My father in law began working at our business when he was 8 years old. He was given the business by the original owners when most had died off. The business has been open since 1906. It is the second oldest florist business in our city.
My son is 16 years old, will be 17 next month. He is an exceptional honor roll student, and already looking at colleges to go to.
He has taught himself to play the guitar, and is lead chair Bass in his high school orchestra.
I found these boards by playing AC, and I come here to tease people, talk to my buds, and usually get into trouble due to my honesty and the fact that I don't take bull from anyone.
I do not like liars or people who make fun of the mentally or physically handicapped. Oh and I think starbans are dumb.
