I was born in Germany and lived there until I was 14. My dad is German and my mom is from the former Yugoslavia. They got divorced when I was 6 or so and my older brother and I lived with my mom from then on. In '99, we played the green card lottery and happened to win a spot in the USA, so we moved to Fernandina Beach, FL (just north of Jacksonville) in August of '99. I didn't really speak much English at first so I started getting into online gaming. First I played Diablo 2 and then 2 of my D2 friends started playing AC and I checked it out because of them. I liked it, played AC for 2-3 years on Frostfell and that is how I ended up here. I used to have a different boardname, Ryo's Spirit, but I gave that account away when I quit AC.


After graduating from HS, I started going to the University of North Florida where I met my current g/f. We met our freshmen year and have been together for almost 4 years now. We broke up for a few months late last year but got back together this year. So now its my last semester at UNF, I'm about to double major in Business Management and International Business which turns out didn't really teach me much. My goal right now is to secure a decent paying job, work 3-5 years and then go back to get my MBA.

I tried AC again 2 years ago but only lasted a few months

I also played WoW in a high end raiding guild

I worked full time as a gas station manager for 9 months before quitting in February, been unemployed ever since

I go back to Europe almost every year and like to travel alot

Another random tidbit:


If you are on a 56k connection, you can open multiple windows and post 5-10 replies at the same time, circumventing the post timer. Just tab through and hit "post" real quick and since 56k is so slow you can have multiple posts. Just don't let Lysol catch you.

Oct 4th I became a real US citizen with passport and all. (Can't deport me anymore!!!)


I like the opportunity I have here in the US. I like the 'freedom' and independence also. In Europe it would be a lot harder to become successful and in comparison to my friends in Europe I feel like I have it much better. I like visiting there and I would even work over there but in general I feel like the US is more my thing.
