Ah, so it's AZ and not NV, then? I knew it was out that direction.

I'm 23 years old living in Scottsdale, Arizona which is I guess you'd call a suburb of Phoenix. Only lived in Phoenix until I was 4 years old when my parents and I moved to Scottsdale where I’ve spent the rest of my life living. Just something about this city that I love. Being an only child, and the youngest in my family I was spoiled from all relatives growing up and in an effort to please them, and of course, get spoiled more I grew up being quite the “goodie-goodie”.

My early years of school flew by pretty quickly. I was a straight A student, and always the teachers pet through Elementary school, and then Middle School hit and I figured out I could still get by without consequences with C’s instead of A’s.. My parents didn’t much like that but would offer me rewards and special dinners out for making better grades. Worked for a while but I got tired of all the homework!

I dabbled in playing the French Horn the first year they let students play an instrument, but that only lasted a year and by 5th grade I had switched to the much lighter and easier to carry Clarinet. Back then it was fairly odd to see a guy playing the Clarinet but I enjoyed being unique, and well, all the women seemed to like it. Of course they all still had cooties though.

Little did I know the Clarinet would lead to the best experiences in my life when I got to high school, and much to my disagreement was enrolled in Marching Band. I fought tooth and nail with my parents about it but they insisted that I do it. I thought it was going to ruin my high school career for being so “un-cool”. Looking back Band and Choir is what made my highschool experience so great and I'm SO glad that my parents forced me into it.

Parents divorced after 23 years of marriage when I was 16 and a Junior in high school, and although I don't blame them for anything, and still love them of course, that’s also when I think I started to shed my goodie-goodie attitude. Senior year in high school opened my eyes to a lot of things.

My early years of high school were full of marching band, honors class’s, video games, and due to my size a couple years of football. My first MMO, Ultima Online, took a hold of my life Freshman year when a kid in my P.E. class told me about it. My gaming history really didn’t stop for the next 8 years going from game to game with quite a few times in there that I was seriously addicted. I’d like to say as of the first of this year, I had quit all games and only in the last week did I re-sub AC to get a little casual gaming in again. Real life is fun, but everything in moderation!

Freshman and Sophmore year I was part of the Football team because of my size. About 6'4" and 250 for a Freshman kid in highschool immediatly meant offensive line. Was alright, however I didn't associate with the jocks very well, and come Junior year when I had to make the choice of play Varsity, or be in the Marching Band, I chose Band. Was about a full year of taking crap from the jocks because of that one, especially because I played the Clarinet.

Junior year in high school is when I joined up with the Men’s Choir, and liked that so much I also joined the Varsity Choir my Senior year. That was also a lot of fun because we were actually good and it let me go to New York Senior year for competition where we won 1st place amongst many Eastern high schools. Doesn’t seem like much but they hated that outsiders such as ourselves could come in and win. Hey, not our fault we came in and blew their socks off! If interested in any of the music look up Moses Hogan, specifically “Jericho” or “Elijah Rock”.

Graduated high school in 2001 and went straight into Scottsdale Community College with hopes to move on to Arizona State University. Right out of high school I thought, due to my gaming interests that a degree in something computers was what I wanted. Decided that Computer Engineering or Sciences didn't interest me and so I tried a few CIS courses focusing on networking. Hmm, well.. it didn't work out so well and even a year later when I tried again it still didn't work out. I busied myself finishing my 101s and 102s but towards the end of my second year my idea of what I wanted to do hadn't gotten any clearer. This is when I started to take all sorts of different class's just for the fun of it. Astronomy, Business Marketing, and Criminal Justice courses were a few that I took but the lack of direction the previous semester and my recent switch to night class's due to a new job, ultimately lead to me not signing up again after two and a half years. Its now been about three years since I’ve been back, and although its only getting tougher and tougher to go back, I still have plans to do so. I’ll pick up again at Scottsdale Community College with the same goal of moving onto ASU when I meet the requirements.

About the time that I stopped going to school I fell into a very cushy easy job working in the family business. Family owns a local car audio/video chain called Kustom Kar Sound. We have had up to eight, but currently operating four stores here in the Phoenix area. I do warehouse work such as shipping and receiving and light accounting working with QuickBooks in the morning, and then visit the stores delivering product in the afternoons. Working with family always has its perks but also has its downsides. September of this year will make it four years I've worked here with family and I'm ready to get out. My uncle, dad, and grandma all work here and as much as I love them I want to spread my wings a little and get away from the family umbrella. The perks are quite good and will be hard to leave but I feel it will be the right thing to do and hope to break free sometime this year.

Despite my Magnus Jr., or maybe spite… You may have noticed a lack of love life, in my life. As many know I only lost my virginity recently within the last month, and girlfriends really weren’t an interest of mine growing up. I’d say I’m a bit like Kardon and have many friends that are women, but never took it further. Boy did I have some big shoulders to cry on through high school and I feel it only helped me as I now have a complete understanding of why most men are jerks, and what not to do in a relationship. Currently am single, and while I have a friend with benefits, someday, probably when I go back to school, I’ll find something a little more meaningful.

There you have it. Feel free to ask about any of it, or anything else. I don’t hold any secrets!

-I wanted to go to Notre Dame since I was a little kid to become a lawyer and would still like to attend the college someday in my life

-I eat a hardboiled egg every morning

-Going to the gym for 2 months now and lost 20lbs so far

-Was into Magic the Gathering, and even more so Pokemon!

-Used to ride BMX bikes

haha wolfz, the problem is, a boot from you, is a boot full of love. It would have no effect!

Oops! forgot my world travels.. Places I've been:

South Korea for 3 weeks, Japan for 1 week on a month long foreign exchange program, just without the school part. Parents were not happy when I came back with no journal entries and only 1 roll of pictures total.

I haven't even been to Mexico and I live right here. Road trips all over the west coast, Cape Cod, MA on the beach for a few weeks, god that was beautiful, and then New York for Choir competition as mentioned.
