I would consider myself successful in general, but I never stop looking for room for improvement. The thing about difficulties in my life is I got to the point where I had two choices - be bitter and blame others, or dust myself off, learn something, and be better. We all get knocked down, the important thing is how you get up. Thanks for the kind words.
