Lol Shaz.
Interesting read. I'm curious though, how was Gallaudet? We were taught a lot about it, sounded like an awesome place. I'm curious why you dropped out from there though?
And do you still keep ties to the Deaf community? Do you go to any of their functions, etc.?

Gallaudet was an interesting place... Wasn't someplace I would go for a degree. I only took advantage of it because it was a place on the other side of the united states...
I don't really keep ties to the deaf community anymore... I prefer the Hearing community more  I do'nt go to many functions...

Why on earth would you use 7pt type?
How often do you speak? Only when you need to or do you hold entire conversations?

Do you know if the medical technology exists to restore your hearing if you so choose? Not that there's anything wrong with being deaf, of course.

Why not use 7 pt?
I can speak, but I don't on purpose. Because I enjoy watching how people reaction when I tell them I can't speak or hear. I only speak when I need to such as ordering food in a restaurant... But I do not try to carry an entire conversation...

Yes, it's called a Cochlear Implant... Basically a piece of technology that can be inserted into your ear surgically. It's not something I would like to be. I don't want to be a borg.
