What should I say?

I was born in a small town in Northeastern Massachusetts. My mom grew up in Colorado, on a farm as a child, and in a small town in Northeastern Ma as a teen. My father grew up on Plumb Island which is located south of the mouth of the Merrimac River. Newburyport, very beautiful place to visit is located at the mouth of that river. Newburyport is a very historical location.

(I go there when I want to go hangout…so much to do.)

Mom mostly was a stay at home mom, eventually started working at a banner making place where by hand she sewed many banners of the area and for trade shows. Some of them are still hanging today. Dad always worked as a floor care person at a grocery store.

My parents had my sister, and though, “three kids would be nice”. Pretty soon after the stork delivered me, they realized they would never be able to handle three kids. I broke the mold. Growing up they called me “Sara the terror”. I was very bossy, very demanding, very active, and they weren’t expecting that.

One day my mom said “We have to go to the store, please don’t get dirty…you can play outside for a bit…” mom says that about 5 minutes later when she went to collect me she found me covered in mud head to toe. She was so angry that all she could do was laugh and line me up for a picture. (In front of the wall that I covered in crayon the days before)

When I was 4, my uncle went fishing right before a storm, his friends in April. April waters are still cold as ice from the winter. He didn’t wear a life jacket. His friends returned home to break the news to my grandparents that their son will not be returning, because a wave came up and he fell in. The water was so cold his muscles seized and he drowned almost instantly. He was in his 20’s. He was a black belt in Karate. I was a little afraid of boats, but I was forced to go sailing. When I was 5, my dad took me and my sister and my aunt sailing. However, a guide wire got caught, and the boat flipped over and the mast was stuck in the mud. I was trapped under the boat, until my dad pulled me out and put me on the upside down boat bottom until a nice young man came out with his rowboat to save us. The water in the basin was shallow enough for my dad to stand with water to his shoulders. I was so scared, I have only been sailing a handful of times since…which usually end with me crying. Mostly every weekend my parents went sailing, so I spent a lot of time with my grandmother. I would sit in the tree in front of her house and read books up there all day long.

When I was little I wanted to be a booper, the lady at the grocery store that made the computer make that booping sound as you rung up the food. In elementary school, they asked us what we wanted to be when we got older, and I said “a mommy” I feel the same way today.

In elementary school, I was a very bad reader and speller, I almost didn’t pass first grade, but they put me in reading class, and passed me along. Reading class was a joke, they helped us with our homework, and didn’t teach us anything. They also read to us, instead of make us read. I hated reading and writing, but got better at it as I got older. I have a hard time talking to a group of people; I tend to stay quiet in a crowd. I prefer talking online. I have kept a journal since 6th grade to keep working on my writing skills. I get lazy posting on ACF sometimes.

Elementary school in a small town had about 80 kids from my grade go onto the middle school which was joined by 80 from another town and 70 from another town. The middle school is located right next to the middle school. My favorite thing was…the town the middle school was located in was “a safe distance from the nuclear electrical plant” and 100 feet over the town line was the high school, which was “not a safe distance”. Incase of an emergency, they would make the high school walk to the middle school. That was it. LOL.

I got my first job in high school…worked at a ski place within a mile from my house. I worked in the kitchen. It was a seasonal job and worked there for about 8 years. I snowboard, and cross country ski…I’ve never downhill skied.

I worked in the summer and still do, at a summer camp. I’m a head counselor now. I Worked there for about 9 years.

For about 4 maybe 5 years I worked at a bakery, which changed owners while I worked there. I started as a dishwasher, but within my first 5 months, I was the manager, and the only one there. I had to cook, clean, wait on customers, and keep everything stocked. It sucked working alone. The bad part about being alone, was, a man named “crazy Mike” he introduces himself as just that. He acts like a war vet, but he never went to war. He is a very nice guy when he takes his medicine, but most of the time he doesn’t remember to take it. I don’t know how many times I’ve poured him coffee, went out back and returned to the front and found him eating out of the trash, or pouring booze into his coffee. (tisk tisk tisk) He talks about strange things…one day he said “I need someone to call the cops for me, there is a 12 year old prostitute living in my basement, and she won’t leave. She has 6 kids, and they are making a terrible mess. I have called the cops on her before, but the cops don’t believe me.” Someone should write a book on him. He’s one of those small town characters that need to be recognized.

Cakes I’ve made…

Boyfriends…didn’t start liking boys in general as more then friends until I was around 18…I was very innocent. Humm…Went to prom with a guy I liked, but he kept disappearing off to make out with some lesbian chick that had the hots for me.

Lets see…How I came to ACF…I went to high school with ACX, but never talked to him. I talked to everyone else, gosh, I had very few, true friends, but I could tell you what town everyone in my grade was from, and a little about everyone. I guess I was pretty social. I did cheering, I can still do back hand springs. (I had to learn how in order to make the squad, I learned on a weekend) My friends called me the most anti-cheerleader they met, because I wasn’t as chipper as the rest of them, I was actually a good person.

(I’m under the trophie)

Later, at my community college (11 minutes from my house) I had a English Comp II class with ACX. One of the last few days of class he passed me a note with his s/n on it, and we started talking frequently. Chatting so much progressed into friends, this progressed into hanging out. One day, I saw him posting on the boards and asked him what he was doing. I immediately made him help me with a board name. I looked though his previous posts on acf and found out that a bunch of them were about me. I didn't realize he thought “friends” with me would go further then i thought. I was flattered that he thought i was cute...ect. He’s a good guy, just maybe not the right one for me. However, nothing really stopped him. For his birthday, he took me hot air ballooning. It was something I’ve always wanted to do, so I refused to let him pay for my half of the trip. It was amazing.

Another day I forced ACX to go to NY to visit my friend at Cornell. However, he skipped too many classes and because of me he had to retake some. But, since I forced him to go to NY, he forced me to go to Niagara Falls with him for the ACF meet-up. I didn’t want to go, because I was scared that everyone would be creepy…and a little hesitant about sharing a hotel with ACX…He promised to be a gentleman….so I went. I had so much fun and was so glad to have gone.

I love taking pictures. I’ve had 3 years of photography and probably should have made that my major. I’m very artistic, but don’t think my art is very good. I finished community college with associates in Liberal arts and went on to Bridgewater State College in MA. Just found out, ChiChanChee also goes here.

I graduate in a few days. I’m on my final week of finals. I haven’t a clue what I’ll do with my BA in Earth Science. However, at least my mom is proud of me.

I’ve had a hard month because my whole life I’ve been in school, and now it’s finally coming to an end, along with the anniversary of my grandmother’s death last year, my birthday (23), and having my heart broken. (I miss him a lot, but you all know that, and he was the best thing that happened to me. We are still friends, and my inspiration to do well and go far in life. I look to him for a lot of guidance still. I appreciate all he did, and still does for me. I’d do anything to have him back.) He doesn’t want me to wait for him, but I’m not going to be able to move on for a while.

Mike and I at an engadget meet up…

As for Reapist…lol…I used to be a small B, but I gained 65lbs during college, and became a very full C….but since the boy dumped me, and my stubbornness. I’ve put myself on a strict diet, and the weather is getting very nice, so I predict a small C in my future. (I was at 177, now I’m at 150, and still loosing)

After college, I plan on installing Ubuntu with beryl duel booted. I also plan on finding a job, traveling, and paying my mom back for all the help she’s given me though the years. I can’t wait to be a mom.

I would like to apologize for writing so much; I hope I covered my bases. Any questions feel free to ask. I’m very friendly and am always there to listen to friends troubles…especially since I expect the same out of my friends.

Me the other day…
