I know just what you mean; our family is close as well - while a loss is never easy, it just seems especially hard when it is someone you are close to.
Grats on the upcoming graduation! 
Good luck on the changes in eating habits, and grats on the weight loss - that can be difficult.

You do realize that that is not really her teeth right? You can see her real teeth on top of the fake teeth right under her right nostril. Sure, she's not that pretty anyway... but it just ruins the pic to see her real teeth.

That was an amazing read, Hin. Thanks for sharing the 'real' you.
On internet message boards, one can only guess at the personality of the person behind the keys and I think it can be unhealthy to take a poster's remarks too seriously.
I learned long ago that sarcasm (one of my personal gifts) should be taken in small doses so I admit that I don't read all of your posts. When I do, I generally find them entertaining. I found the difference between your person and your persona very refreshing, however.
Best of luck to your mom and you - it sounds like you both deserve some good fortune.
